What is LARP?
There are so many interpretations of what LARP (Live Action Roleplaying) is, but for us, it's a tool to enter fantastic worlds as if we were their heroes! Playing in a LARP is like playing in a movie in which there is no script or audience and in which you are the lead. Every choice is yours and anything is possible. We set the framework (the story, rules, etc.) and you embody a character in that world who has their own ideas, background and goals. Because the outcome of the story is based on the players’ choices, no two LARPs are the same. By playing you will have an experience that is unique to you!
Do I need to have acting skills to play?
None at all! Embodying a character does not involve 'right' and 'wrong' decisions on your part. The game will help you put yourself in the 'shoes' of the character and feel how they would feel in a particular situation. And just like that, all that's left is to play!
Do I need to learn any rules to play?
No! Every game has its own (few) rules, which we will tell you before the game starts. Think of it more as a framework that will help us to simulate situations that we can't act out in the real world (battles, supernatural phenomena, etc.).
Do I need to have equipment to play?
Not always! Usually, a larger game will ask you to prepare a costume that reflects how you envision your character. This means you can buy pieces of it, modify clothes you already have, or make it from scratch. In some games, there may be a rental service for costumes available while in others (e.g. chamber LARPs) you don't need a special costume.
Is it safe for everyone?
Physical and psychological safety during our events is our main priority. To learn more about our safety framework see here.
