How to play the villain:

There are games in which we choose to play a 'villain' character whose behavior and/or ideas are very different from our actual personality. In this way, we can see how such a character thinks, how they justify their actions etc., and reflect on real social issues. However, having such characters for the sake of the game experience is a big responsibility. We intend for themes such as violence, oppression, and bigotry to exist in our games when they make sense but without being abused. Your teammates are there to have fun and no role or historical status quo should give you a free pass to ruin that. We urge you to acknowledge and play with these themes, but not to use them to do harm.
